**Michael Burthay dominates the feature at Limaland as Devin A Thompson stages an otherworldly charge** Michael Burthay controlled the feature from start to finish, leading 12 laps and never showing a crack as the field sorted itself out over the dirt at Limaland. But the real story belonged to Devin A Thompson, who started buried in P18 and clawed his way up to finish P4 — a demolition-derby climb that defined the evening. Thompson didn't just move up the order. He passed 14 cars. That's not a drive, that's a statement. Starting that far back in a field this competitive and ending up fourth on the final results sheet means he was systematically dismantling traffic, taking every opportunity, and executing on every lap. He's the one walking away with the hard charger award and something bigger — momentum heading into the next round. Burthay's cruise to victory was businesslike. Tommy Brandon had the pole position but couldn't convert it into feature success. David Flick settled into second, while Todd LaBoube rounded out the podium in third. Heat racing saw Don Hunter, Justen Stolz, Todd LaBoube, and Craig Silby secure their automatic bids to the feature. Tom Ochoa and Shae Paulo salvaged their nights through the consolations.
